Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
Emotional Freedom Technique involves tapping with the fingers on acupressure points on the face and upper body. As we tap we will say words and phrases related to the issue you are working on. It is extremely effective at reducing the level of anxiety, sensation or negative emotions you are feeling. It can help a range of issues including:
Anxiety and panic attacks, stress, worry, feeling you cannot cope with a busy life, dissolving negative feelings like anger, guilt, grief, anxiety, depression, fear, resentment, rejection and loneliness, distressing memories: care accidents, operations, arguments, abuse, schoollack of confidence, low self-esteem, poor self-image, shyness, exam nerves, addressing the underlying emotional causes of poor health.

No side effects, no needles, no pills or chemicals, no long drawn out 'Tell me your life story', it is drug-free and painless, often works where nothing else will, usually rapid, long lasting and gentle, easily learned by anyone, making it an empowering and useful tool for personal growth, can be self-applied.
EFT is a tool which can be used to address emotional, physical or spiritual issues. The number of sessions required will depend on the complexity of the issue and it is important to bear in mind that while some problems, or parts of a problem, will clear straightaway there may be deeper aspects involved which will require time, patience and the expert skill of an experienced, creative practitioner to achieve a complete result.
One of the great benefits of EFT is that complex work can take place either face to face or over Zoom.
Intergrated Energy Techniques (IET)
IET has a metaphysical approach, bringing together spirituality and the new science of pioneers such as Bruce Lipton, Candace Pert and David Hamilton. In brief the IET philosophy is one that rests on the premises that 'Mind creates reality through language and behaviour': and that 'Every one and every thing is meaningfully interconnected'. And, also its emphasis on the relationship between the unconscious mind and the energy system using principles from Ericksonian and indirect hypnosis.
IET is a blend of the most effective personal change techniques available, including EFT, combined with traditional therapeutic principles. As a client, the need to feel safe, understood and listened to is essential – these being the foundations that make it possible for change and healing to take place. IET practitioners have something extra, in addition to their skills and learning, and that is the integrity and authenticity that comes from their own commitment to a personal journey.
